The Spring Bloom β A Beautiful Evening Together
On March 27, 2026, we gathered as sisters to cultivate what we’ve planted. Here’s what bloomed.
πΈ Recap
What We Planted Together
On Friday, March 27th, sisters from across the country gathered virtually for our Inaugural Spring Virtual Meetup β and it was everything we hoped it would be.
Dr. Rheeda Walker joined us to talk about psychological fortitude, about knowing our capacity, and about showing up even in the uncomfortable moments. She reminded us that strength isn’t about pushing through no matter what β it’s about assessing where we are, honoring our seasons, and giving ourselves permission to pause, breathe, and choose differently.
We shared in Sister Circle Greenhouses β intimate breakout rooms where sisters opened up about what they’re walking through, what they’re hoping for, and what they’re ready to bloom in. We lifted our prayers on the Bloom Prayer Trellis, naming our hopes, our needs, and our growth. And we celebrated five Bloom Box winners who will receive curated gifts to remind them that they’re seen, valued, and never alone.
The evening wasn’t just an event. It was a sacred space. A moment to exhale. A reminder that we don’t have to do this alone.
β¨ Highlights
Moments That Moved Us
From Dr. Rheeda Walker:
- “It’s really easy to do what you’ve always done. But when you want to have a different kind of outcome, when you’re tired of being that hamster on the hamster wheel β I’m just gonna do something different.”
- “Don’t give yourself a hard time for not doing something different right away. It takes time to grow and to change and to shift.”
- “Being in a community means that we reach out and support others. We tell folks our testimony and let them know, you can go through this because I did too.”
- “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” β Exodus 14:14
On the Prayer Trellis, Our Sisters Lifted:
- Their Hopes: Stronger boundaries. Healthier relationships. More peace. Deeper faith. Freedom from anxiety.
- Their Needs: Rest. Clarity. Courage. Community. Grace for the journey.
- Their Growth: Learning to say no. Trusting God’s timing. Releasing control. Showing up even when it’s hard.
From Our Sisters:
- “A dead battery can’t jump another battery.” β Lateefah
- “Learning to say No gives me freedom.” β Trina
- “Before you pray for others, pray for yourself.” β Wiletta
- “Learning to understand my capacity.” β Jeanine
- “Being kind to myself even when I am not where I want to be.” β Aniya
